I have a 1960 356b Coupe undergoing extensive restoration - could do with some friendly advice and tips. Body metalwork is not far from done. Engine is in progress. Now trying to sort through all the boxes of bits that have been taken off and decide which to restore or replace. Are there any owners in the Midlands who can give me a little advice? Will really appreciate it.

Thanks Paul,
I'm dreaming of the day the seats go in. I am into the nuts and bolts stuff at the moment - Cables, pipes, electrics, seals, chrome work, running gear - everything that involves screws, nuts and bolts - all the rusty and perished bits. It will be a while before, I can get to the upholstery, but I'll definitely talk to them.

Good morning {Boxing Day}
I am in Nottingham and have messed with 356 for some years {a lot!}. A friend is currently finishing a 356B and I have overhauled an Acabrio. Let me know where you are- it would be good to meet up at yours or in Nottingham where I have a small workshop with lots of 356 stuff and other projects.
All the best, R. Godfrey-Jones. spineynorman48@hotmail.com e-mail good for me.

Can anyone help me locate a replacement front right carrier and spindle for a 1960 356b t5?. These got damaged during removal of the king pin and are beyond repair. I heard that pre 1965 VW parts are compatible - can anyone confirm if this is true?
