3M Hand Glaze. A question...

Guys,

I've been using the 3M stuff on my car to very good effect. I have applied it twice in the last 6 months followed by a liberal coating of Maguires Gold Class.

My question is this, how free can I be with the use of the hand glaze? I know it is essentially non abrasive. However, there must be some form of mild cutting action. How else would it achieve such an attractive restorative effect?

Am I in danger of eventually cutting through the clear coat on my paintwork?

It does indeed Mark. But do you think that my paintwork would suffer from it's frequent and enthusiastic use?

The directions on the bottle give no real guidance to how often it should be used.

It's a "glaze" ...as Mark has pointed out it contains fillers which will temporairly disguise any minor surface paint blemises.
The 3M products are primarily designed for for post-paint application ie after repainting/compounding - to remove (disguise!) poor polishing techniques.

You'll be safe applying it to your paint as often as you feel the need...especially as it's a hand applied product

Thanks Dave. I do believe we are in for another sunny Sunday. I shall glaze away with renewed vigour! [8D]

Rest assured it does get driven John.

Been out enjoying the sun this afternoon. A nice top down cruise around the Kentish Coast. Not only did it feel good, it looked just fine ta boot! [8D]
