Sorry - I missed that question in your e-mail. The light should be isolated since it is not grounded by any of the fixings so relies solely on the wiring. In reality it shouldn't matter since the light is a series of bulbs - not LEDs. Normally brown is used as earth/ground elsewhere in the car.

Don't worry all done fixed on and..........working[] the power was present on the inside contacts so it was just a case of running a wire from inside out if you know what I mean. Once I had got over the shock of having to drill a small hole in my roof line I was ok[] Apparently according to p-car this is a common problem although there fix is not as straight forward as it says[8|] there is no way you can make a hole between the rear glass and the seal for your new wire you have to drill above the rubber into your roof missing the sunroof motor obviously[&:]
