4 Wheel Alignment 17th May

May's Monthly meeting on Wednesday 17th at Garstang Golf Club has a demonstration and talk on 4-wheel alignment by Chris Franklin of Centre Gravity Ltd. Chris will be carrying pre-booked out 4-wheel alignment during the afternoon on his mobile rig. The meeting starts as usual at 10.00 hours.

As yet I have had no booking forms and deposits returned for either the joint Ferrari lunch on 11th June at Storrs Hall, Windermere, or Woodvale Rally on 5/6th August. I need feedback for June's meeting within the next 10 days or the event will have to be cancelled. Forms can be downloaded from R18 web site
 
That has got to be the best 'supplier' meeting yet. I was there from ten in the morning, helped to set the trailer up which took over three hours, that is how precise Chris and Jane from Center Gravity (sic) are. Chris' attention to detail was unbelievable, never once did I hear "oh, that'll do.". It was a wonderful display of just how much adjustment can be done to a 911. And how far out they tend to be.
Great shame that the weather turned so bad in the evening, wind and rain (lots of both). Phil's fault for not ordering 'hot and sunny'.[:)]
I'm just off into the garage with a bit a string to try a bit of diy four wheel adjustment on the Reliant Robin.[:)]
 
Hi All,, Should any person want more infor,
give me a ring 01282778308, all I can say is the alinement has transformed the car, now it is simply stunning to throw round the corners, and drive in a straight line without correcting all the time, words cannot say just how transformed the handling as become, bearing in mind I have had the car setup by other so called proffesionals twice in the last 2yrs and I was never happy with the handling until now. A full write up will appear in PP shortly,

What I will say is Chris Frankling the owner of Centre Gravity is a porsche owner and member of the club and is a total perfectionist , and that will do for me watching him do my car and others to this standard was a joy,

Chris and his trailer will be at the main PCGB national event at Eynsham in August ,giving 24/7 talks on his work along with the main displays arranged by myself and Phil Clarke please come along and join in something very different to previous years, we will try and make it special, all the best Barry
