I have a 1990 C4 964 and will shortly be replacing all the shocks and springs with Bilsteen sport shocks and Eibach springs which will lower the vehicle. I understand it is necessary to check the alignment following doing such work. Can someone please advise what the settings should be. The car will only be used on the road.

Kendrick,
All things being equal I'd be inclined to start with the standard settings and decide from there if you want to make changes. Installing new shocks (and springs) means all of the alignment settings will be destroyed and you will have to get everything set up from scratch, including ride heights (to your desired level). The Eibach springs will lower the car roughly 30mm so I'd be inclined to satart with the following settings:
Front: Height: 135mm (i.e. Std 165 - 30mm)
Toe: +25' +/- 5'
Camber: 0 deg +/- 10'
Caster: 4 deg 25' +15' -30'
Rear Height: 228mm (i.e. Std 258 - 30mm)
Toe: +10' +/- 5'
Camber: 40' +/- 10'
The ride heights are measured from the ground to specific measuring points on the suspension.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Dave

Camber: -1 deg +/- 10'
Caster: 4 deg 25' +15' -30'
Rear Height: 223mm (i.e. Std 258 - 30mm)
Toe: +15' +/- 5'
Camber: -1' +/- 10'

Many thanks. Very helpful.[]
Not wishing to poach your thread Kedrick, i'm both curious and interested, as a number of people of late have enquired as to what are the correct alignment settings. I just wondered is this something you intend to do yourself and if so what sort of equipment do you intend to use to carry out the re-alignment process.
