4 Wheel Allignment.....Again!

Guest

New member
This has been asked before but where do the guys in Glasgow with older 911s (pre-89) get their cars alligned. I'm meaning the full works, toe ,castor & camber.

Cairnlea garage was recommended before by a 944 guy (Dougie, I think), but have any 911 owners used him?

Cheers

re your enquiry about 4 wheel alignment for your 911!
contact cairnlea on 0141 445 3322.

i had my 993 c2s done there some time ago they do all types of cars!!

regards brian wood R.O.

p.s. getting the hang of this forum stuff slowly but surely!!!!!!

Thanks for the replies chaps. i always like to hear that places have done my type of car before I use them.

Cairnlea did my Boxster a year or two ago. They were happy to set the suspension to a specific set up and seem a capable outfit.

Good reviews so far. Do they have a computerised allignment thingy and are there prices reasonable?

Glenvarigall are keen to get the older cars into their workshops so don't be afraid to call them and negotiate if you get quotes from the independents.
The problem with older cars is that a lot of the time the nuts and bolts are seized requiring excess labour time that can double a quote.

Mike,
I get my car serviced at Glenvargil. I was thinking about asking for a quote but didn't think it would be cheap as my yearly services cost about £450. Maybe if I get another quote I can barter.
I'm in the process of refurbishing some old springplates so my suspension should be good as new afterwards.
