Afternoon all,

Now I know the quick response to this.. 1,963 as stated in Richards FAQ.

What I am keen to know is how many RHD versions were produced. My impression is that the majority of these models went out to the states and had those most excellent chrome wheels attached..

Thanks

Gregory

You mean like this:

This one was at OPC Silverstone a while back. Click for a few more photos.

Nice example, very low mileage. OPC seem always to report the spec with only 315bhp. Rather an injustice to the X51 setup @ 345bhp.

and not forgetting the M030 suspension and the 40% Diff.

AFAIK they all had the chrome wheels as standard, but a lot got taken off in the name of good taste [;)]

I've got the official 40th Anniversary brochure somewhere I'll get it scanned in and Richard can put it up in the FAQ with the others.

watliner, did you manage to get the 40th Anniversary brochure scanned? I'd really like to see it.

Any idea on the number of UK cars?

I have uploaded Andy's scan of the "40 Years 911" Anniversary Edition (Specifications and Price list): http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/fb.asp?m=434311

Steve: I'll email you a link for you to download it, as you won't be able to access that page.

As there appeared to be no clear view of the qty into each market, on 1 of the other Porsche forums, the US guys had started to try to identify all the US 40th Anniversary cars by asking the owners to post their vehicles "Anniversary plate" no.
Maybe we need to do the same in the UK ?

Congratulations !

Is that the one at 911Virgin ?

Has anyone got a copy of the brochure to go with the spec sheets?

I've seen one on eBay but it was in the states.

Steve
