All,

I have been contacted by a French chap who has a red 993 RS LHD clubsport with welded cage. All original, no accident, service book and history. On german plates.
The car is apparently very good (this guy sells only good cars anyway, and his cars a often reviewed in FLAT6 or RS MAG, the 2 french magasines).
38000km (24k miles).

The guy does not speak english.
But i can provide more details and facilitate the deal if anyone is interested (my mobile is 078 99 90 38 73).
He is looking for EUR 77500 (or GBP 52300).

Regards,
Eric.

got a few updates on this car, which is not as 'extraordinary' as i originally thought...
and the 'no accident' bit has to be reconsidered (read the below).

Here are a few more details that I received yesterday.

It was a 993 rs touring originaly.

It had an accident early in its life and it was entirely rebuilt by a famous porsche german specialist called FELLNER in 1998 using a BRAND NEW 993 cup car chassis.

This car is registered as a 993rs and the chassis number is WPOZZZ99ZTS390567
The car has its original service book and all the bills since 1998.

I have the pictures if anyone is still interested (if i was going to buy it, i would look to negociate the initial price by 5-10%).

I have the pictures if anyone interested can email me at eric.sivryATedfmca.com

This always amuses me when cup car reshelled cup cars on the road are described as clubsports [8|]

WARNING
With the ever increasing values of N/GT factory cars, more and more copies are appearing, even on original RS chassis

They are the same, Clubsport in 993RS/964RS is the factory M003 option N/GT FiA spec cars unlike the rebadged 3.2 Carrera, 968 and GT3 Clubsports which are in name only and are not N/GT FiA compliant. See you have a RSR Avatar is that a RHD 993RS Clubsport?..............

Des, rhd ???.....look at the wipers mate [;)]

It's a bit quick that one......we will never catch it in ours [8D]

ORIGINAL: paulr

Des, sorry to be a muppet but what is the difference between a N/GT and RSCS?

Paul

It makes Des feel like he has a rarer car using N/GT and not just Clubsport like everyone else[:D][;)]
