A chance to put your car on Pitstop's rolling road at Brize Norton to find out how many horses are still under the bonnet. After this we will drive to Foxbury farm where they offer quality food made with meat reared on their farm, vegetables and fruit grown locally, fresh herbs from the Foxbury Garden and local products, all of which can be found and purchased in the farm shop.

The rolling road part is limited to ten cars and will cost £20 each but it will be good just to come along as see anyway. I will let you know when I will be taking names but if you are interested just let me know.

Sounds good James. Put me down.

A further attraction is that anyone going will be able to see West Oxfordshire's answer to the Angel of the North (the Carteron Carthorses) in the Kilkenny Lane Country Park which is across the road from Foxbury Farm. A perfect opportunity to see where 50 grand of your council tax went [:)]

And for anyone wanting to make a weekend of it we have the 'Horsepower' event (formally Porsche & Polo) the next day at Kirtlington Park.

Unfortunately Foxbury farm will not be available for lunch. I know this will be dissapointing for those wishing to see the Carterton cart horses, but I am hopeing to organise something with a local pub on the Thames instead.

We have 10 places for this event and already I have four confirmed and one 99% sure. If you want to come along let me know as soon as possible. The lunch stop is The Trout Inn at Tadpole Bridge between Bampton and Buckland a really nice pub on the banks of the Thames.

This event is approaching fast and we need numbers to make it work. It is only £20 to put your car on the rolling road. It will be fun to find out how much power you have, let alone the noise from this test. Then on to a pub luch afterwards, a great way to spend a day.
If you are interested just let me know so we can get everything organised.

It's worth mentioning that there's a risk of grounding on Tadpole Bridge if you approach from the North (Bampton). Be very careful and take it really slowly if you do.

If you are interested in this can you let me know ASAP as I need to book the pub for the lunch and need to give numbers.

I will close the list on this event tomorrow if there is no more interest I might have to cancel the dyno run due to lack of numbers which would be a shame as it only costs £20 each. If you are interested just contact me. jamesdbrickell@aol.com or post a reply here.

James, I've assumed the lack of interest means the dyno runs are off but wondered if a drive out to The Trout and lunch session are going ahead?

Sadly, due to lack of interest, the Dyno is off. We needed sufficient numbers to make it viable.

I'm up for a drive out to the Trout if a few of us are interested. As always, co-ordinate thro James.

We can do an informal lunch run. Just need to know numbers if we want a table. Or we could just turn up if the weather is good and enjoy the garden.

I have left a message with James (who is organizing it) to get back to me with info. Hopefully he will post a message here tonight/early tomorrow.

The BBQ tomorrow (Fri) at the Puesdown Inn on the A40 (http://www.puesdown.cotswoldinns.com/) organised by the Cotswold Classic Car Club (http://cotswoldclassiccarclub.com/home/) is definately on and starts at 6.30 pm. Lots of interesting cars on show + BBQ + beer. No need to book; just turn up.

Hi,
I think that with the other events this weekend and the bad weather forecast for Saturday it would be best to cancel the lunch. Hopefully the weather will be better for our Saturday lunch meet 8th September and we are also meeting Wednesday 15th August at the Feathered nest. Hope to see you tomorrow.
