It's been a while since our last overseas trip (well a few months anyway), so really looking forward to this.
Always an awesome sight to see all our variety of Porsche models in convoy, well it's what we purchased our cars for [:)]

Mines always primed are ready to hit the road at a moments notice, I don't see the point of owning them and having them locked up or SORN in garages, Porsche's are meant to be driven!

OK peoples Don't forget the essentials:
Passport
Licence
Insurance paperwork
Yellow jackets
Breakdown triangle
And taxi numbers for LARRY!

France you say????
What event have I missed- or is it only if you're part of the naughty team..[;)]

garyw

Hoping to come back with the answer to the question - Flat 6 or V2: which is better? Only one way to find out!

sorry I'm gonna miss this one guys! Make sure you take it easy over there, especially since you wont have the white air cooled back marker as an air brake [:D]

Small heads up for any of you with pre-96 cars - watch out for E10 fuel in France and don't put it in your cars. The "up to 10%" Ethanol is not good for the fuel lines!!

Rule number 1 ...... NEVER mention the prospect of good weather as it will always bite you in the backside.

btw Need to add V5 and toll money unless you have a Sanef token.

'Naughty Tin' is ready !!!!

Are we ready??

.... and is France ready for us ????? (I hope not too ready [;)])

Tyre pressures checked, fuel topped up, oil level checked. Spare splitter fittings in boot, and washer bottle topped up. Wash and wax tomorrow, time permitting. Must remember to leave space for a bottle of Armagnac. Or two.
See you all around 7.15am

Armagnac ..... [8D]

Can't decide on tyre choice at the moment after last years outing.

Now if JC would send out pace notes it would be useful. NO wait Gary did that and we never followed them .... Porsche PCM 3.0 thought it knew better [8|]

(Sorry Gary still finding Mud under the car from the 'Freshly ploughed' 3.0 routing)
