5 months and 5K miles

Just can't get over how great it has been to back driving a 964, just minimal issues with bleeding the pas and an abs light which cost me nothing to fix.

Can't say the same for the 996's I owned, will never own another []

Have to say that the previous 964 and 993's I owned were almost faultless, so why can't they make the newer models like that ?

Getting made redundant in April, just hope my job interviews come to something so I don't have to sell her []

Mark, know exactly what you mean - the build quality of the 964 is rarely mentioned which is a pity because its really so good - feels quite a bit better than my 944 S2 of the same period.
I noticed you've had a couple of Boxsters - how did they compare to the 964 in terms of performance? She who must be obeyed wants one and I need some convincing.

Hi Steve,

Have to admit that I did enjoy both of the Boxsters, I had the original 2.5 and then the 'S'.

I did like the 2.5 as I had come from a 1981 944 which was 16 years old when I sold it.

I switched to the Boxster 'S' in between 996 ownership but came to realise I really wanted a 964 or 993 again.......so here I am back in the 964 []

I think you would like the Boxster IMHO
