50th anniversary - any 924 plans?

Others seem to have made plans, register parking etc.

Any 924 plans or are we going to be the poor relations parked in the far corners of the field ?

I am coming down from North Yorkshire, looking forward to the trip and joining in the 924 gathering. That makes three of us so far, is anyone else joining us?

I'll be travelling down in my July 1977 black 924, it will be on display in the 50 years line -up (a Mac and Sue production !!) representing 1977. Looking forward to the drive down in the car, and catching up with the club crowd.
Andrew.

What a great day. Our '24 seemed to run rings around the 911's in the autotest ... well at least until the grass dried.

Shame our 924s weren't altogether though. I parked with three others in the 924 area but someone underestimated the number of Boxsters ... which took over.

Still a great day - and I'm smitten with the ride height of CarreraRSR's car.

Great day out especially for the 924 Carrera GT's, GTS and GTS Clubsport

924 'register' display was a disappointment with just four cars!!

Really the turnout for 924 and 944's was disappointing, however there were some interesting examples shown.

I am actually a 944 owner but I hold a keen interest in 924's especially Martini's, Le Mans and Carrera's.

There was only one square dash (early) 944 in the whole show, as far as I could see and that was in the 50 years display, a very nice example though.

Overall the show was good, the wife and I enjoyed the couple of days that we were there, coming away I thought we should take part in more club events.
