Porsche's new 533bhp Panamera
Porsche Panamera Turbo customers can give their cars a 40bhp power boost with the addition of a new Powerkit to the options list.
Powerkit-equipped Panamera Turbos get two new turbochargers with titanium-alloy turbine wheels, while changes have also been made to the engine management system to make the car more responsive.

The result is a total power output from its 4.8-litre V8 engine of 533bhp, up from 493bhp, while torque is also up from 516lb ft to 553lb ft. Torque can be further increased to 590lb ft in over-boost mode, if the Powerkit is specified alongside the Sport Chrono package.
The Powerkit also cuts the Panamera Turbo's 0-62mph by 0.1sec to 3.9sec, while its top speed is now 2mph faster than before at 190mph. Fuel consumption is not effected.
The Powerkit will be available as a £11,118 option from next month, while it will be available as a retro-fit option from November.

Porshce has also added a Sport Design Package option to the Panamera range. This includes a body-coloured nose with wider air intake grilles and a body-coloured rear underbody apron with diffuser and fins. This option is £2516 and is also available as a retro-fit.
New lightweight, multi-spoke 20-inch Panamera Sport alloys are also offered in black or silver metallic for £2247 (£1058) on Turbo models) while a three-spoke sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles for PDK-equipped Panameras is a £277 option.
V8-powered Panameras can be ordered with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) as an option alongside Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control and a fully controlled rear axle differential lock. This £3130 option aims to improve steering response when cornering while also boosting traction when accelerating out a corner.
