I saw this in the car park at the Biggar car show today, it's a Banham kit based on a Skoda. This has got to be the best option for Brian, Porsche & Skoda all in one.

It's for sale too, so get the chequebook out Brian.

Did not know there was a show on !!the Tipec guys where at the Boness hill climb today I did not go as had something else arranged . I saw that car at the Selkirk show last year and was speaking to the guy who owned it , there where two of them a last weeks show at Gaydon .How much was he after ?Stewart McKay sold a very similair car last year for 6K

I think that Spyder replica belongs to a guy in my village. I have heard about it, but he takes it out so infrequently I have yet to see it. If it is the same guy, he used to have a TriKing (Morgan replica).

Small world eh?

Was it any good?

Tygan's development time on their 550 is some time off and I missed a Martin & Walker some time ago.

Total Headturners had one recently too, but it's off their website.

Would still like one.

It's certainly not as good as the one in your photograph. I remember seeing it originally advertised on Pistonheads for about £7K but, the guy who has it is in Edinburgh and is looking to buy a Cobra replica, thats why it's for sale. He didn't build it but has a photographic record of the build, not the usual Stuttgart quality.

I don't know if the Skoda parts are still available for the Estelle, otherwise you could upgrade to Alfa or early Porshe 4 pot engine if you had money to burn.

There are other Spyder kit makers about shame I don't have the time or money.

That was the one I mentioned that was sold or being sold by Stewart Mc Kay motors ,the photos are taken at Inverkip marina where he lives .it is a while ago that I saw the advert .
Is the Box a keeper then Mark ?

Yes Brian, being fettled as we speak.

Although I would have done most of these for the sale, I am now doing them for my enjoyment of the car!

New Clutch
New ABS Sensors to rear wheels
New Boot Badge
Fix the Boot microswitch
New Headlamp washer to near side
New coil packs
Replace the cracked Engine cover on the underside (bl@@dy speed bumps!)
Refurb the front wheels
New Rear Tyres

remove two small dents.

Does all the above need done? No! Do I want too because I love the car? Yes, Am I mad? Certainly......
