It looks interesting with a fairly complete bodyshell although rusty, it must be one of the last of the drum braked cars in RHD any idea what chassis number? is it a UK (ie, rusty) car, or from a drier RHD country. Not for me though, I have my own problems with a RHD 356.

More details as follows:-

1963 model Porsche 356 B "Super 75" 1582cc
1st date of registration in UK = 01/04/1963

Right Hand Drive "" One previous owner (my cousin, I am now the second owner)

Chassis / frame number "" 122847 (matching number)

Engine number "" P704970 (matching number)

Colour "" White

Original Log book + new Log book + original Drivers Handbook + Technical Manual

chassis number 122847 would equate to having been built by Porsche Reutter in June July 1962 so it would have been around for some 7 to 8 months before being sold and registered in UK.
On a totally anorak point there were 2249 engines built for that model year against 1942 cars, what ever happened to the 307 extra engines?

Need deep pockets to take on that as a project. especially if you are relying on a restorer to do the work for you ...be interesting to see what it finally goes for any guesses ....i say £45k

The truth is that this car is going to cost £60 to £70K to complete, possibly more. My advice would be to find a restored or usable car
now and enjoy driving it. Rebuilding / restoring this car will reduce your life expectancy and probably destroy your marriage / relationships.
If you have never rebuilt a car don't make this your first one.

I would think the body work alone at somewhere like Rober Gants will be in the order 65/70K - then you have the chrome, wiring and interior
could well be another 25/30k and that presumes you have all the bits. So in order of 85K by the time youve finised - and probably have to wiate three years for a car that would be valued at approx 50K

A far better prospect may be
