This covers the 718 Boxster and provides a useful somewhat technical v user manual view of the vehicle and its features.

Some very interesting tech there on this new engine, the charge air cooling system in particular. This is a very complex and high tech engine which, in addition to the turbo and intercooler system, has features not seen on the flat-6 981 engine such as variable valve timing and lift on both inlet and exhaust as well as an innovative method of applying a thin ferrous coating to the cylinder liners.

Excellent post Ralph. I have saved this file for future reference.

I have still to evaluate my 718 Cayman S PDK. Due to the arrival of winter in the Highlands, it is safely tucked up in the garage until this wintry spell passes.
