My 718 Cayman S has gone into my local OPC on Monday for a 4 year service and MOT, 3 days later I am no nearer getting it back.
They called earlier to update me, to say that a rear suspension levelling sensor mount was broken and I needed to pay for a replacement, when I queries how did it break, the response was maybe i drove over something raised that hit the underneath of the car! I think I may have noticed that, but still £90 for the part.
They have also found that when trying to replace the spark plugs 2 bolts holding down the ignition coils are seized, which may involve them in a lot of work to rectify. I am surprised to say the least that a 4 year old Porsche is suffering from seized bolts, which an OPC is struggling to overcome. Should I really have to pay for this?
Any thoughts / comments would be welcome.
