718 Cayman Tyre Pressures

Hi all,

Can someone help me understand this sticker and what it's trying to tell me.

I want to adjust my tyre pressures this weekend but I'm not sure what to set them at. The pictures show what looks like a speedo three quarters of the way around with a speed indicator of 160mph and pressures of 30. But the one above it shows the speedo all the way around and 33.

Does it mean if I drive at 160mph all the time they should be 30, and any faster they should be set to 33? Seems strange as the top speed of the car is 170!!

Thanks,
Richard.

If it's like the Comfort or Normal settings in my 981 then 30 is comfort and you have to set the tyre monitoring system accordingly along with the correct sized wheels and whether you're using summer or winter tyres. Comfort has the speed restriction too.

Correct Twinfan.

Being in a cooler latitude, i.e. not often a constant 20c here in the far north, my tyre pressures are set at 2.4 bar rear, and 2.3 bar front. Seems to work fine for everything.

Brian

I'm sure that all will be explained in your Driver's Handbook Richard.

Of course, traditionally that's the last place we look..!
