718 GT4 and Spyder Engine issues

Whinbush, we would be interested to hear if you have avoided the delivery delays, but I suspect you ma6 be caught up in it.

I'll be calling at the end of the week.

Its due to leave the factory on the 30th of April

.

I will update then

No delay as a result of the engine con-rod situation.

However it has been pushed back by 3 weeks due to the semiconductor shortage

I was one of these unfortunately, I was actually contacted on the day for it to be collected, it was going to be picked up to be PPF'd... but still its now making it seem a life time waiting for it to be fixed.. at least not much has been open since, plus the weather has had its ups and downs. fingers crossed its all good for the summer here in the UK [8D]

Sorry to hear that Alex.

If the car‘s just sitting in the carpark collecting dust until it’s fixed, can’t you get it transported to the detailers for its PPF? At least it would save time after the repair.

Jeff

the car needs to be sold to be PPF'd I believe, don't quote me on it, so as it is on a stop sale order, I'll just twiddle my thumbs until I get an update when the ordered rods will get delivered. Im just glad they sorted this out very quickly to prevent any future issues!
