I have just purchased a Techart rear spoiler and I need to deactivate the spoiler. I believe there might be an option to change wiring harness to GT4 style. I also know Techart supply something when you buy their kits not sure if they do this as a separate item though. Appreciate and comments or solutions that avoid error messages.

Hi Chris,

I wonder if it’s possible to do something via the diagnostic system? Worth checking with your local Porsche dealer or friendly Independent.

Jeff

Have a look in the manual and see if there is a fuse associated with the spoiler. If there is just take it out.

When I changed rear spoiler to fixed Hamann type on a 997 needed a visit to OPC to change configuration, cost £30 for them to connect PIWIS and press some buttons.

Just pulling fuses etc. will just flag up an error code.
