718 Spyder tyres

Hi everyone,
I am changing the tyres on my 718 Spyder (Michelin Cup 2's) for the winter.
Any preferences between Michelin Pilot Sport and Pirelli P Zero. Tyres must be N rated.
Many thanks.

Neither PS4S or P-Zero are great in cold and wet conditions. (less than 10°). Once properly warmed they will cope better but if you want to use the car safely throughout the winter months then you would be better to get winter tyres which are designed for use below 7°.

Having said that it also how you drive; I have a friend with a 992 GT3 which is is his daily driver and he uses Cup2 all year round. Even in snow! But very carefully.

Winter tyres are the best option for cold weather driving, I have heard it said better grip than 4x4 on summer tyres❗️Worth doing research with tyre supplier.

If you don`t need to use the car in poor conditions why bother changing, wait for a better day

Having run Cup 2`s in the Winter, they are OK in the wet but much less so when cold (< 10`C)

that's the issue some will say a cup2 is ok(metal people) some will even say a PS4S is NOT OK !! Just be sensible, imo a CUP 2 IS NOT ok if you plan to drive the car above 60mph in the cold, and like wise a PS4S is fine way below 10oc which some one posted, the cross over is more like 5oc. The UK is quite warm in winter these days, if you work in Scotland and get up at 5am you need winter tyres, if you live in the midlands and get up at 9am a PS4S is a great winter tyre and just is amazing in standing water and wet days.

just stay at home if it snows which it never does in the middle of the UK.
