Hi all

The trigger on my door handle broke. I bought an American made replica which looks fine but will not accept the original lock. The hole at the bottom of the barrel cavity is not big enough and there are other slight internal differences.

Has anybody had a similar experience and have you successfully machined the replica to working order.

Alternatively, has anybody got a spare original they would like to sell me.

Cheers

Brilliant Phil

I have spoken to Alan who is a bit of an expert and has parts.

Wow, this forum is excellent. The DDK one looks like it will also be really useful.

Thanks again

Nick

Hope you sort it . . . must be frustrating.

I pretty sure we've spoken/met/e-mailed before . . . for some reason I'm thinking of a business card with 'happysnaps' on . . . . could be completely wrong.

Anyway, hope to see you back here some time.

Phil
