'84 carrera electronic speedo problem

Guest

Hi,i have a restored '84 carrera targa but the speedo doesn't work.I had the rest of the system checked and a new sensor fitted by an auto electrician and it's definately the speedo.
Can it be repaired or can anyone recomend somewhere i could get one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Tim.

I suppose it does depend on what is wrong with it, but a few places do repairs. I can't think of all of them right now, but Porsch-apart do gauge repairs if remember rightly. They might also be a good place to start if you need a new one. Have a look in PP or look them up on the net. Nice blokes and good service too. Ask for Simon.
