I'm not usually this much of a numpty, however, in this instance I really am beginning to think that I am a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
Where on earth is the 02 sensor on an early 944? I have looked on the PET diagrams and mine is not where it shows, ie just up from the silencer and I've checked Clarks garage as well as other resources on line, but to no avail.
So many pictures show it at the back of the engine bay, close to were the TDC and speed sensors join their connectors to the loom, but mine isn't there, so please please help this numpty.
