Hello - Anyone out there fancy a run out on Sunday 9 Jan to blow the Christmas cobwebs off the car ?
Suggested itinerary-

1. Meet 10.30 to 11.00 am M1 Woodall Services (south) for briefing and route maps.

2. Pit stops at Asbourne and Bakewell (famous for its 'tarts' or a look round the shops ! )

3. Lunch or coffee break at Bakewell or Hathersage and then a steady drive home.

Some nice 'B' roads around Ashbourne.

you should have followed me home for a cup of tea [:D]

can't make this run out, just moved house so got too much to do

I'm going to give this one a miss - unfortunatley I have a crisis to attend to: A small gearbox oil leak []

Randolph,
Emma & I may not be able to make the run on Sunday as we have to get a car into the dealership for some work on Monday, which will mean dropping it off on Sunday.
If the run does not go ahead can you post a note on the forum to let everyone know,

Just got back home.
It was a great drive out and well planned. They are a bit twisty those roads and it gave the car a good run out. I got the rest of the feathers off when I got home! Those pheasants dont half explode into a ball of feathers when 4X4's hit them [&:]
Top choice of pub the food was brilliant.

Sounds like you had a good time, sorry we missed it. By the time we were ready to go it was too late to make the meeting at Woodall services so we had a thoroughly boring day at home instead.

It was a shame you didnt make it. It was an all 911 event. A boxster amongst them would have given a bit of variety. Peter Bradly brought his 993 which when given the choice of porsches at his fingertips was the best choice as if he brought one of his tractors we would still be going round the course now []

Being way layed I missed it-new baby boy has arrived (28th Dec instead of 11th Jan due date-all is well with Mother and Baby(James Norman).
