Does any one have a right hand drive coupe manual for sale or know of an available car? Would prefer later 2.4 T or E. Thanks.

May I suggest that you make plans to attend the Silverstone Classic meeting between 26 to 28th July and have a look at the cars there, I am sure some may be for sale and you can see them 'In the flesh' The sale of Entry tickets will stop on May 31st.

Robin, Thank you for the reply. Three of the cars are back dates which at this stage is not of interest. One car however is a possible candidate. Moving over from the dark side (a 1996 993) clearly will not be easy!

Robin, I was referring to an auction at Brooklands rather than Silverstone. OAP's get tired in the afternoon. Must go and lie down. Your suggestion will be followed up. Thanks.

I had pointed him towards the Brooklands Historics car, a RHD 73T project. I wonder what that will go for?

Do you mean the 70T Nick? If so I guess it will go for 15K ish which could well be too much depending on what needs doing to it.

Ian.

PS I have no clue which UK car it is from the incorrect chassis number they have put up.

Hello Nick, sorry to go off message but will you be at the Silverstone Classic meeting ? and in an early car?

It looks like a deal has been done. Autofarm to check it over tomorrow and if all is as it seems I will drive it back home. Will report more fully when I have time.

Fingers crossed for you :- )

Ian.

Matching numbers from the point of view of the VIN and engine but it was originally a Sporto changed to manual 915 box prior to 2000 but have no exact date. Correct colour silver. Interior re-trim by Southbound with salt and pepper carpets. Incorrect seats but later than you thought: probably 1978. Only travelled a few miles since 2008. I am not buying the car so it is back on the market.

Still therefore looking for a good 1969 to 1973 T or E coupe RHD.
