911 3.2 Exhaust on 1989

Hi,

can anyone advise on the best places to buy a new complete exhaust for my 911 Carrera It's still got the original fitted and seems to have been repaired too many times so perhaps time for a complete new system.

any suggestions on who to buy from and the most suitable and idea of price? I've been quoted £2,000 for a bespoke solution but not sure what the best approach?

Thanks

Gary

Hi Gary,

depends what you want to achieve, if you have the original system you will want to go stainless back Box, Dansk etc, but there are numerous options, better sound, performance improvement etc, etc.

ive had good reports on Turbo Thomas. A decent Indie should give you advice.

A complete system in stainless steel (as fitted at the factory) can be had for £1650+vat

Do you really need heat exchangers? Unless damaged they are normally pretty good on 3.2's even after this amount of time
