911 (964) Turbo RS 3.6 Convertible 1993

Dale,

In short - No.

The 964 Turbo was never produced as a convertible - only a wide bodied coupe. There is no such thing as a Turbo RS either, coupe or otherwise. Was this just a general enquiry or have you seen one advertised somewhere??

There were a number of wide bodied C2 convertibles (cabriolets) produced both for ROW and US markets at various times but none were factory Turbos, although it's entirely possible that any could have been converted at a later date.

Regards

Dave

Dale,

Since it says "new body" I guess that could mean anything. If it was originally a Turbo 3.6 re-bodied into a (wide body?) cab body then it would be true. Doesn't make it an original though. I wonder how much of the running gear (suspension etc.) is likely to have come from the original?? I would have though a re-bodied rebuild would substantially lower it's value since it's almost certainly a Insurance write-off and I guess there's a good chance that it's a left hooker too - the phone number is in Spain. I can't help feeling that £30K is a tad optimistic.

Regards

Dave

Looks like it has turbo s (993) rear wing air scoops, I would guess a normal 964 convertable with weird wide body kit and a rs spoiler. Looks like another OTT spoilt car.
