Do the buttons in the central console ie the ones round the gear stick (sports exhaust, auto stop/start, rear spoiler etc) as well as the buttons for the PCM ie tuner, media, phone, nav etc backlit at night time?
I've had the car from new for about 5 months now and have driven at night infrequently, so to my great shame, I cannot remember, but I do think they were lit.
They're certainly not lit now.

The switches on the both doors for the windows are backlit.

Certainly on my BMW, every single button is backlit at nighttime.

Thanks,
JB

Yes, when the lights are on but if not check the brightness is not wound right down, you access that by twisting the button below the Speedometer that also resets the trip data.

Thank you, I really appreciate the pointer.
I'm away from home now for a few days, but once back, I'll try it.
I know I was fiddling around with that button a few days ago, and it was after that I noticed that the buttons were not backlit.
What really threw me was that when I drove by my OPC, one of the service people there was adamant that they were not backlit.
I'll report back.

A Happy New Year.

That's exactly what it was, while I was fiddling with it, obviously wound it down.
Many thanks for pointing it out.
