911 All Seasons Performance Event at PEC

Had a great day at Silverstone yesterday driving around Stowe as well as the Porsche track, in variety of 997 Turbo, Turbo S's and GTS's. Some very interesting discoveries on the benefits of 2 v 4 wheel drive when testing cars back to back. Nice to drive a Turbo manual, though pretty sure I'd not go back there even with the tempting offer of the new 991 7 speed box. Nice selection of cars to have a close inspection of without the hustle and bustle of the recent launch. Still not decided whether any experience in a new 991 Turbo S is going to get any better than yesterdays countless launches [:D]?

Happy Christmas...

Excellent place to catch up on all weather driving, probably one of the things it's best for...
Mind you once they've extended it [8D]
Glad you had a job time Rob, can never do enough launches....[;)]

I was also there yesterday Rob (green lanyard, aren't they organised?) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Highlight for me was Richard Atwood instructing me on the Porsche Experience Centre track. My son accompanied me and after experiencing the Stowe circuit is pressing for a track day drive in my (manual) 997gen1 turbo!
