Hi Jon,

Looks fab, I to have made good use of Halfords bogof on Autoglym products but have been converted to their wax as opposed to super resin polish....

I find it lasts longer between washes hence less applications!

Have you seen my post re Zunsport grilles?

Kasspa - I do rate the Wax, my mate uses it on his M3 and it looks great - need to buy some! I did see your post, I like them, they blend well with your black exterior. Due to the problem of leaves in the air itakes, my vehicle had all affected components changed less than 2 years ago at a cost of £2,896 by Porsche Centre Exeter. Fortunately for me this was financed by a previous owner.

Spyderman - Cheers! I detailed it because I was selling up due to a new car which has subsequently fell through - have to admit I don't know why I wanted to get rid of it!!!!

Looks great!

I've recently started using the Auto Glym Aqua Wax spray on the car after every wash too - it's great stuff! It was around £12 for a bottle and it came with two lovely micro fibre cloths too. Keeps the car looking lovely between 'proper' waxing sessions![:)]

Can anyone recommend the best product for getting black plastics (exterior) back to their best? My front grilles have some white spotting on them probably residue from a spray if some kind used by the previous owner. It's really bugging me but don't want to make them worse. Would Meguirs Trim Detailer do the trick?

For black plastic smooth peanut butter works really well at getting rid of polish and other contaminants (seriously!)

Once you've got all the spotting off then 303 Aerospace Protectant leaves a lasting blackness.

Great job.

I am reminded again what a great looking car the 4S is.

I've used the Zymol Tyre dressing on black plastic before- works v well, and doesn't leave a sticky gloop behind.
