911 Nitro?

Guest

New member
Hi,
I saw a 911 LHD 3.2 1988 cab with Zeemax body and 350bhp+Nitro.
What should this be worth?
Is it possible to get 350bhp out of a 3.2 carrera without a turbo/supercharger?

Cheers

Amo,

Do you mean Nitro or Nitrous ?

Being a Drag Racing fan, I have seen plenty of both, but it would be Nitrous in a road car.

I actually went to see an SC about three years ago that had been fitted with nitrous, although the bottle had been removed when I saw it.

Nitrous can be used for a very short period of time, and can be lethal to the engine - on the other hand it can add huge horsepower. Not recommended for a road car at all.

Incidently, 5th Gear on the TV ran a diesel (VW?) with nitrous that was setup for use on full throttle only - Vicky used in to demonstrate how it could quickly 'blast' past a lorry in safety !

Its an 88 3.2 making 350hp before adding nitrous - yeah right. Its single plug with std induction and no other mods are listed. It "might" make 350hp with the nitrous for a short time before it hand grenades [:D]

I smell too much Fast & Furious !

Does it strike you as odd that it's had no bids yet?
I can think of much better Porsche ways to get rid of £20k!
