911 offsets

I have some 15X8 alloys with an et11 offset that came off a 944 and someone wants them to fit a 1983 911 SC (standard body).Im pretty sure that the offsets are the same as the early 944's but can someone confirm this for me !!(or let me know im wrong !!)
 
Theyll fit, but it should have had 6" and 7" ATS wheels so itll be far from ideal: even if the offsets were spot on.
