Not sure if this is of any interest to anyone. I know nothing about it, but came across it while browsing.

This one has been around for a while. Doesn't seem to be a queue to buy it. Recognise the strange front indicators. BTW the advert says tax free but it was first registered Mar 73 so misses the December 31 1972 cut off point.

It does seam people are running away from it.. I just had a look at the pic in detail there is abit of patch work on the sill area just out of shot and in general it's looks clean underneath but I would say the old black hidy paint is working well.. I am sure if it was media blasted to a bear shell it would make for an interesting pile of ash afterwards.. what did the think when they did that to the wings.. what's it's true value £8K?

About right, but my 'bitza' 911 is valued for insurance @ £12K.
If it is a real RHD then I guess that enhances it?

Yes RHD enhances it. The value for this car will be completely dependent on the condition of the shell. No way to tell without seeing it in the flesh.

assuming your car's bodywork is in good shape & rust free, sounds like you might have your car undervalued for insurance purposes

Certainly is rust free etc. Always did wonder about the value.
Should take it somewhere else maybe when the spring arrives and the salt has gone. It has been summer use only since 1992!

Just wish the brakes were better. Thinking of adding a 3.2 servo system as I've the vac take off from the 3.2 in the back.
Hard to get all the parts needed.

A 3.2 in a 1000Kg 911 with the tweeks is a blast, but a mite slow after my hot Impreza.

Just to put that into perspective, the 'pace' spec in my hillclimb class for Saloons is about 500+ bhp. The fastest car has nearly 700, but is not road legal.

After 5 years in the Impreza, racing the old 911 again will be quite a shock....

The most impressive things are the fuel injection smoothness and the huge torque from tick-over. Just wish it revved more. 6000 rpm is reached very quickly, where the Impreza hits 8500 no sweat.
Least impressive are the 911 brakes, just awful. [:'(]
