911 Porsche world picnic in the park 25th sept 2011

Weather looking good so will get the trusty steed out and make my way there in the company of a GT3.[:D]
 
drove through really heavy rain on the way there. thought about turning back but glad we didn't as by the time we got there the sun was out and we had a lovely day
 
No gala dinner, no hot air balloons, no flying display, no F1 simulator, no auction.
BUT - everything you could want from a Porsche show: lots and lots of great cars, loads of friends to talk to, great weather.
Really enjoyed it.

i really enjoyed looking at the cars and chatting to people about them....thats anough for me.
 
Loved the Orange and the black outlaw 356's and there was some very nice early 911's. I just wish I had the space and the money to add something like this to the collection. Lots of nice knowledgeable owners and back home in time for the F1 (should have stayed though lol)

Yeah good day all round weather was pretty good for this time of the year
Stayed dry which was the main thing for our picnic.
Good cars & company and few stands to look at (Good day out)
 
A good day out. Loads of Porsches of all types to see. Met some old and new faces.

Shame PCGB wasn't there. I'm sure they could have signed up some new members.

Don't be silly, how would/could they make any money out of attending [;)]
Glad it was a nice day out for all.
However, I've done my share of parked in a field for this year [;)] and very good it was too......

[:-] come on the club couldn't possably afford to attened.. it would have had to have hired the whole of windsor castle for the directors and helper to stay in for three nights & to also host the gala diner & fireworks [;)]:ROFLMAO:




(my tounge is wedge firmly in my cheek..just in case anyone take the above seriously [&o])
