Does anybody know the actual cost of a 911 3.2 Carrera in January 1987?

I have a Supersport Coupe, for which I gather the Option 491 was a whopping £10,000 extra at the time.
But was was the cost of the Basic 911 3.2 then, and what was the cost of the 930 Turbo in comparison?

I shall ask the latter part on the 930 Turbo register as well

Geoff

A 3.2 was circa £25k in 1984 when i got my 924 (I test drive one at Ian Anthony Bury) but I know they went up sharply after that, so probably mid 30's.

Carrera 3.2 Coupe Supersport/M491 £45,258.63

08/97: 131000 Deutschmarks

3.2 Carrera
03/87: 3.2 carrera coupe: 76880 dm (wiht Cat 78455)
08/1987: 80500 (82075FM)

3.2 carrera turbo look coupe( or M491)

08/87: 109850 dm

m491 in targa: 110230 dm

Please note that there will be UK specific differences as Porsche Cars GB ordered their cars with specific options rather than the german market and their "bare" cars. Best to wait for the register secretary to answer your queries in detail, but... the SS ought to be still cheaper than the turbo...

Best regards,

Bert

Thanks guys for all the info.

Interesting to see the final cost of my Supersport when new.

Much appreciated

Geoff

Geoff the final cost could well have been more as there were loads of options - if you
know what options were taken (on sticker under bonet if still there) PM me an I will check through
the price list for you

Cheers

Adam
