911 rubber windscreen seal required. Any help?

Whilst the screen is out it would pay you to have a good look at the metal work that the screen sits into, this area is prone to rusting. Make sure you give the job of changing the screen rubber to someone who knows what they are up to as these screens can be a nightmare to fit, getting the insert back in is a hard job.
I think there is a later rubber from the 964 that does not have an insert, Iam going to check with Forest Fine and might change the front and back rubbers on my car to try and stop water leaks, I also need to change the rear quarter window rubbers as these leak.

Forestfine do the screen rubbers they do a rear one with or without the insert I have ordered one without the insert this is as per the 964. They are looking at getting someone to make them front screen seals without the insert but it is a question of tooling costs. Apparently the screen in a 964 is a different size to a SC.
For the rear side windows 993 rubbers fit and come without the inserts have ordered 2 of these as well in an effort to stop leaks.

I had my rear screen seal changed due to leak on my 89 3.2, I purchased an aftermarket seal, one of the problems that arose was that on the orig seal there are pre cut holes to enable the heated r/screen power cables to reach the screen connectors, not sure if this is the same on the SC. No pre cut holes in aftermarket seal, had to slice a slot either side for connections was a couple of hours job and still leaked slightly, I am going to change the seal again and use official part.

No Iam scared to ask. But I have spoken to Autostrasse and they say that the pieces of glass in the later cars are a different size to the SCs glasses the only way to put later seals in without the ally inserts is to change the glass as well but you then end up with a rear screen with a wiper hole in it, so I will be fitting new SC type rubbers to the rear and side screens. On the one side window that we took out loads of water came out of the seal. Screen fitter who does know what he is talking about advised sealant round the glass and the complete rubber to stop leaks. Rubbers are on their way back to supplier and I will get SC ones to put in.
