Hi there,

With a budget of £13.5-14K (maximum) with which to buy a car for everyday use, which is likely to have the lowest running costs from the cars listed above. Annual mileage is around 12-13K.

Martin.

hi lowlander i've been posting on the idea of swapping a 993 for a boxster. i've found the 993 a very expensive car to maintain esp the body/paintwork. i can only imagine that a 3.2/sc would be even more of a liability. you have to balance this against the perceived build quality problems of the 2.5 boxster and its engine problems. i would think that as long as the engine doesn't go the boxster will be cheaper to service, run and insure unless you can get the 911 on a classic policy
