911 sc as daily driver

me

up and down the A3 into London on a regular basis, its a luxury as its not exactly economical but I love every moment, even traffic jams are bearable, at least you can hear that reassuring rumble in the back

the reason why I bought an SC, relable and affordable, although with the damp wet weather like at the moment it stays in the garage and I use the SAAB

I used to use mine as a daily driver doing something like 10,000 miles per annum in all weather conditions and loved it to bits - almost made getting up to go to work bearable. Don't do it now as live and work in London and so use the tube - insurance is buckets cheaper though [:D]

Every day user here. Most reliable (and oldest) car I've owned, touch wood. probably about 7-10,000 miles a year.

I use my 83 SC daily doing approx 12,000 miles a year. Have just come back from doing a quick New Year trip Thursday to Sunday to Meribel in the Alps covering 2,500 kms without a problem, including snowchains when we left the resort!!

"Raises hand"

Use mine every day but working from home so not a huge mileage but still doing 10-12K. Convinced it works better the more I use it . Certainly not rusting as fast as it was in the garage. Needs a little more by way of servicing/tyres etc but way better than my old repmobile !
