911 SC Childs petrol engine car

I brought last year a second hand childs version of the 911 SC. It is virtually like for like when you compare it to an SC.

I was wondering whether anyone knows anything about these cars, who made them?

It is in need of quite a bit of tlc, looking at the wheels and chasis it stood in about 3 inches of mud for a while so the interior looks a bit tired along with the body work and the engine will need to be replaced.

Any feed back regarding these cars would be appreciated.

Wow!

I remember seeing cars of this quality for sale in either Hamley's or Harrod's many many years ago - probably when the SC was the current 911 or even before. No idea who made them though. I suspect either shop's customer services could advise. Send them the pic - what's to lose? Tell Harrod's that Hamley's haven't got a clue and vice-versa. They are extremely competitive in trying to outdo each other!

Many thanks for your reply, a friend of mine also remembers seeing them in Harrods in the late 70's / early 80's.

Good idea I'll get in touch with both Harrods and Hamleys and see if they can be of any help.
