911 SC rear caliper piston size

Hi guys,

I hope one of you can help me...

I am building a 1303 Beetle into a dedicated track car and as part of this i have a pair of rear calipers from a 911 SC but in order to size my master cylinders to get the correct brake bias i need to know the piston diameter of these calipers, does anyone know what this is?

Afraid i dont have sizes to hand but if you post on impactbumpers.com those guys are allways playing with brakes and one of them will be able to help
Good luck sounds interesting project, post some pics when done. What engine are you using?

Cheers for the response, i'll try there now!

At present i have an alfa romeo flat four in the back which i will use to set up the brakes/suspension/water cooling system - whilst all of that is going on i am building a supercharged subaru engine to drop in [;)]

I'll let you know how it goes.

They should be 38mm, unless the calipers are 3.2 ones which look identical, but have a 4mm spacers betweens the 2 halves, these will be 42mm.
