I have a intermitant wiring problem that is driving me to drink! The relay that controls the electric roof and windows occasionally does not turn off with the ignition the other circuits ignition radio flashers etc all turn off as ecpected. And the problem is intermittant everything else is fine. I have a Porsche approved hamilton immobiliser, all wiring is tight earths clean and dry I have changed and checked the relay and it works. Where should I look next ? Paul [&:]

If you haven't already done it, remove and replace all the fuses (keep spares in the car along with spare bulbs). Clean and coat with electrical grease all the fuse holders. Clean the relay sockets and relay contact pins. If you still have a problem drink the entire wine seller and die happy. [:D] or time to get an expert with a meter if you can't use one, if you can use a meter just go through the related circuits with a good wiring diagram. Good luck these sort of problems are so friggin frustrating.

Tried everything you mentioned apart from dying happy! One thing though the wiring diagram in my Haynes manual shows the relay on the same circuit as the wipers mine are not! Any idea where I can aquire a half decent wiring diagram?
Paul
