Hi

I have just collected my 1986 911 SSE in guards red ,not had time to drive it much yet but hope to get the chance this weekend.
I need to do a bit of work to it to bring it up to something which I will be pleased with, but love the way it drives with no power aids..........
My left leg feel so much stronger now after the drive home.

Cheers

Hi Lee
Sounds like you may need a new clutch then you wont need any power aids for your left leg.

Thanks guys

I will get some picks up from my home PC I have come from a Ferrari 360 F1 so its a bit different to drive but feels more usable.
I had the Ferrari for 3 years and did not get to use it as much as I could so thought I would get something special but usable.

The car is in this months Total 911 as the car of the month, needs a bit of work and some Fuchs but looks nice as it is on some 19" Turbo alloys and I am going to keep the wheels and alternate them as I want as want to keep the OE look but like the big 19" wheels.

I also have a small collection of cars

3 Door Sierra Cosworth
4 x 4 Sierra Cosworth
Mitsubishi Evo III RS (track car )
Subaru WRX STI
BMW E46 M3
BMW M5

Thanks Lee Pearson

Targa roof

I have taken off the Targa roof and wanted to know if it is easy to do a mini refurb.
The roof is good but the head lining is a bit saggy and the metal has some corrosion on it .

Can the head lining be sprayed glued down and hte metal refinished easy ??? some pointers would be good

Cheers
Lee
