My first post Guys and Gals..!

Not owned a Porsche before...(test driven 997S & 4S) owned Audi RS4 and Merc C36AMG...Considering a 911 Turbo (996) Year 2003/03, mint condition, 15,000 miles and one owner. Full PSH. Asking Price from Independent dealer £50k. Tiptronic. Has most of the usual toys..Lapis Blue/Light Grey Interior.

Do you think price is right considering current market conditions? Would also appreciate any thoughts on what to look out for on this particular model and any experiences (hopefully not many bad ones!)

Have driven the car and is superb..[:)].any thoughts and/or comments would be most appreciated...Amadeus

IMO that is pricey. A quick scan through Pistonheads reveals [link=http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/849795.htm]http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/849795.htm[/link] with 450bhp similar mileage asking £44k [link=http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/846525.htm]http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/846525.htm[/link] a 2005 turbo 'S' with 450 bhp (ok it's Cobalt Blue) asking £42k [link=http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/809463.htm]http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/809463.htm[/link] a n '03with 17k on the clock asking £39,500 [link=http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/537368.htm]http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/537368.htm[/link] asking £39k for an '02 with 27k on the clock.

That price is way over the top by a good £10k, 2002 models in the 40/50k mileage range are only fetvhing 30k on good day. Just bear in mind that you will lose another 3/4k a year in dep'n which you wouldnt if you went air cooled.

Way overpriced my friend. Just bought 02 996 TT with 49k, full PSH and all the goodies for £29500. ..[;)] keep looking

Many thanks for each of your comments...I will definately keep looking and agree the £50k price ticket is way to high.... Amadeus

An 03 tip went on pistonheads for 27k last week, that was all he was offered for the car in px at his opc, was not a high miler either and looked like a nice car.
