911 Turbo Hire?

Hi,

I drive a 996 but have always had a thing to drive an air cooled 911 Turbo (any model). It would be great to be able to hire one out for the day/weekend but so far I've only found a few sites that hire out old Carrera's. Do any of you guys know where I could hire one of these?

Have you considered asking a dealer or maybe even a private seller if you could hire one they have for sale?

Obviously you would have to leave a big enough deposit to cover the cost of the car.

Maybe if you find a car you really liked you could take it sale or return, with a fee if you returned.

Just a thought...

Quite right. Considering you can spend more money on a wheel alignment than you could charge as a fee for a day it simply just isn't feasible IMO.

The only possibility is if your car was for sale and no longer your 'baby' [:)]
 
Thanks for the replies. Yes, I dont think that dealers or owners would be interested in having the machines thrashed and then returned, and the issue of insurance would be rather tricky.

The company in Devon is perfect, it's just a shame I'm in Norfolk! I've got a thing to drive many other classics like a Dino, Ford Mustang, AC Cobra etc but none of these can be hired in Norfolk. Looks like a might have to take a holiday in the South West :)
