911 Virgin.com

Currently buying and probably selling from/to them and they seem very straight and are very good to do business with.

I haven't purchased from them, but have only heard good reports. Henry, the owner, contributes over on PH a lot and seems a genuine chap who also races 911s.

I purchased my car from them and was very happy. They are nice guys and I would definately buy from them again.

Traded in a 993 Cab last year for my 996. Very straight and a pleasure to deal with. Every intention of going back when (I hope) I trade up to a 997. Happy to recommend.
Cheers
Ellis

they seem decent enough-you get what you pay for-their cars are not prepped to opc standards but their prices are also nowhere near!!

theres an interesting thread on pistonheads today about the very same establishment...in the porsche section

A gripping thread indeed - good to see such openness and honesty coming through. (And helped by the electronic evidence).

Can't wait to hear the next installment.

Getting itchy feet again!? I presume from the 964 site its a GT3, if you are trading in get a quote from Northways, he doesnt mark his cars up as much.

Has anyone had any experience of 911virgin.com? Any info would be great.

Now a days he is much safer to deal with as he has made plenty of money over the last 10 years, so you should be pretty safe. Beware of the millenium bug price and compare his prices carefully with the opposition as their prices include a warranty.

The car was not actually a Porsche they were selling (Something my Dad was looking at) which also only appeared to have a millennium bug price. Thanks all for the input

Hi Gordon

I got a pretty good price from Henry so I will probably trade it there as no-one else seems interested.

For those that haven't been following the saga on PH, it all turned out well and Henry of 911 Virgin sorted everything out. Looks like a top choice for buying from if that's the service you get ...

Poor old Henry has had a bad week with engines. His GT3 engine sounded like a bag of old spanners when he came into the pits and retired at Snetterton on Sunday.

I had a great buying experience with them. They gave me more for my Boxster 987 than the OPC would and I bought a really fine low mileage early 996 from them in December (much cheaper than OPC). Had to fix a couple of small things subsequently but overall great value with an honest approach - good folk to deal with. Pink price means no guarantee i.e. a trade sale but £2k less than 'retail' - there are various options - check this page http://www.911virgin.com/prices.htm . I dealt with Tom, nice bloke.
