911 Virgins Garage

I visited 911 Virgins near Uxbridge today, for the first time, with a view to swapping my 996 c4 coupe for a 996 c2 cab (as my wife is board of the roof). We haven't agreed a deal yet, but we are not a million miles apart. This was just to give a thumbs up to the place. All smart and clean and tidy with well presented cars, and the chap i spoke with (Tom) couldn't have been more helpful. Happy to chat about the other cars also, and in no rush to pressure me. If any one is looking for a good independent dealer, and you see something you fancy on their website, they're definitely worth a visit. Which is not something I'd say about every independent dealer I've been to!

Ewan,
She knows she won't be happy with just a cab. She "needs" a turbo cab.
All the better to mess her hair up [;)]
She just may not get to drive it!

Funny you should mention that. I have told them I'd prefer a Turbo, but they are a bit thin on the ground. Apparently, wanting to buy a Turbo Cab in Jan/Feb makes me (i.e. my wife) "unusual".

And anyway David, what are you doing on the 996 section?! Isn't there much going down on the Caterham 21 forum?

I get everywhere me!
Not much 21 activity this time of year, all tucked up like the prima donnas they are.

I had a chap contact me with a black 04 manual turbo cab for sale. I'll happily pass his details along if you wish.

Unfortunately my wife only has an auto licence, so her Porsche needs to be a tiptronic.

my turbo was from 911 Virgin - they were very professional throughout. I paid for a deposit after Tom described the car to me on the phone and assured me that he would refund it if I was not happy with it after an inspection. Peter Morgan's inspection reported the car to be exactly as Tom described it to be including the minor cosmetic faults present.
