Hi Guys ,

A female friend contacted me a few days ago asking if I could help her to sell some 911 wheels that were lying in her shed . They belonged to her late husband , a 911 fan , who sadly passed away a few years ago . Be aware that this a set of 3 and not 4 wheels and tyres . Dont know that much about them but Im sure she is open to reasonable offers . Given she is a friend of mine and taking into account her personal situation Id like to think we could offer her a 'realistic ' sum as oppose to trying to 'nick ' them . The centre caps also appear to be missing , tyres are legal thats all I know . The wheels are situated in Bothwell Lanarkshire . My mobile is 07917 248 010 . Call me and I'll put interested parties in touch ( for the record I have no financial involvment with the wheels , tyres or the female in question !!! ) cheers Barry Clarkson

I last had a trike many years ago so will pass on this offer. [:D]

Barry, you can upload lots of pics if you want to. I suspect it's the way you are doing it. From memory you click the image button in the row above the text you're typing. This puts
in to the text box and you then copy and paste the link to the pic from wherever it's hosted (e.g. Photobucket) in between these two pairs of brackets. The link will start http. AFAIK you can do this any number of times. It helps to do a couple of Enters between pics. In fact, now I remember, Photobucket has an IMG option for the link - you just singleclick on that, which copies the URL with the IMG already inserted before and after, and paste it straight into the text.

Well it works for me!

You are clearly of a far more techy nature that that of my humble self ........ basically i couldnt get it to work !

Has she definitely not got the fourth wheel? I have a friend with a V10 VW Touareg and he wants a set of 18" wheels to replace the 20's which it came with. It's not good softroading and he needs more grip for shooting/fishing.

Clearly not - I just added a pic to another thread and tried to use the "IMG code" option that you see in the list of 4 Image Links you get with each pic in Photobucket. It didn't work! However the "Direct link" option does. You just click on the "image" button. which puts
into the text and then copy and paste the Direct link in between the 2 sets of brackets. Good luck!

No definitely no fourth wheel . He ran the fourth flat & knackered it - so decided to upgrade and replace the lot to 19"s. Hence he had 3 left over .

These are the original 996 "carrera" design wheels. Very popular wheel - would probably get a decent price sold as individual items on ebay
