Hi I use a trade product but would think almost any upholstry cleaner would be ok just spray it on and spunge it off. Berny.
I suppose it depends on how badly the headlining is stained, and what the stains are.....
I have never had to remove hair oil, or any other ghastly concoctions such as Brylcreem etc, etc, so I have been able to freshen up the headlining in my car by using just a sponge and plain soap and water, with not too much water.
Berny's advice is just right, I would say.
