After looking at the colours i think my 912E seems to be a lot lighter yellow than that on the site , any ideas, my car is here www.911-heaven.co.uk its at the bottom on the stock list page , we are currently taking the car apart and i really want to repaint the car back to original so like i say i could really do with some help here , maybe if someone knows there 912E they may recognize the colour from looking at the picture on my site .
thank you , keith

yes that does look paler than the 912 colour. think it might either be primrose (a 356 colour) though i think that is a little more cream than yours looks in that photo so i think its more likely to be a slightly later 911 colour (as the 912E was later than the standard 912) think Phil Johnson has a early 911 web site...i'll see if i can find a colour chart for you.

just done a search and am not getting the answers i want to i've posted the question on DDK forum for you someone should be able to help

For a 76 car - standard colours that sound close are either light yellow 117 or sahara beige 516.

Mind you assuming that it has come from the US, it could be anything!

ive found a plate saying 106 in a door shut crossed matched it with a max meyer book and hey presto i think we have our colour !!

Keith just take off the petrol flap and take it to a good paint supply company. I have done this before and they worked it out from their charts and they had the computer run a test on it for the mix and they cross matched it from there... some one like Brown Brothers I have a local company here in Portsmouth if you get real stuck and they do all my paints..
